Suspending Disbelief the terminology that became this album title came from a podcast I was listening to at the time. The phrase stuck with me and I began thinking about it as putting aside our doubts or suspending our disbelief. The title has a dual meaning one of a religious nature and the other is that hopefully these sounds may suspend your disbelief in original music.

This album was recorded over the course of several years on and off. Some of these were projects that I opened and messed with on and off at the end of recording sessions. Some of them weren't finished simply because I lacked the gear to accomplish the sounds I heard in my head and others were delayed due to life circumstances such as the incident which has rendered me disabled.

I used my Ernie Ball Music Man Majesty and Sterling Ball JP60 for the electric guitar parts. The acoustic parts are recorded with a Taylor 714ce LTD with sassafras back and sides and a lutz spruce top. Tones are a mixture of plugins on Logic I have developed over the years, a headrush eleven pedal, and my analog pedal board. I used a Vox AC-15 amp on "Round Earth"
